Last week we delivered training on how to inspect hydraulic accumulators as directed by the Written Scheme of Examination for the accumulators. We helped the customer meet the pressure systems legislation by creating a database of accumulators on site. Those that needed a Written Scheme were identified and the Written Schemes were formulated and delivered.
For safety reasons hydraulic accumulators need to be inspected to ensure they are not damaged and can remain in service. The training covered the types of hydraulic accumulators onsite, the hazards when working with hydraulic accumulators and the inspection criteria.
The training is part of our process that ensures our customers understand and can maintain their own hydraulic systems.
