In September we will be starting our online hydraulic courses. Due to an increasing demand from our customers all over the country, we can provide online courses starting in September, dates will be released in August.
Our first course will be our Stage 1 training, which will give course attendees an introduction to hydraulics. The course will cover the following topics:
- What is hydraulics – how hydraulics was developed, how it is used and where it is used?
- What is in a hydraulic system? – a brief look at components that make up a hydraulic system and what their role is.
- Hydraulic symbols – what hydraulic symbols are used for, familiarisation of the different types of symbols. A schematic will be shown to the trainees, and they will be asked to identify the components.
- Hydraulic components – we will look at all the hydraulic components in a hydraulic system, including pumps, control valves, filters, hydraulic cylinders, instruments, pipes and hoses.
- Safely working with hydraulics – we look at the risk of working with hydraulics and how to mitigate those risks.
Each person will receive a copy of the course slides in PDF format and exercise sheets. Certificates of Attendance will be given to each course attendee. Each course will be delivered over Teams during the hours 09:00 to 15:15 and limited to 4 people. The costs of the course is £250 + VAT.
